Beech is one of the best English hardwoods for producing kiln-dried logs. It is a dense hardwood that burns with a predominantly yellow/orange flame. It is easy to light and burns slowly, producing a lot of heat. On burning it produces very little smoke and helps keep the stove glass clean. It is perfect for woodstoves, open fires, barbeques and firepits.
All our firewood is supplied with a moisture content (throughout the log) below 20%.
We kindly encourage our customers to return the Jumbo bags to be recycled in order to reduce plastic waste.
